- How do you enroll in Youth One Stop?

- Can YOS help me find a job?
Absolutely! Our goal is to help youth find part-time and full-time work, whether entry-level or utilizing certifications. Youth are also provided job training workshops so they can be successful in the workforce.
- Does YOS help youth pay for training?
Scholarships are available.Youth work with their case managers and set career and training goals that include working with funders.
- Does YOS provide youth with extracurricular experiences?
Yes! Youth have the opportunity to participate in community service projects and mentoring opportunities with business professionals. Youth One Stop youth have met the Dutchess County executive, mayors and other elected officials.
- What does the Youth One Stop program entail?
Youth work one-on-one with case managers to create education and employment goals. Youth meet periodically with their case managers to complete steps toward achieving their goals. Youth are expected to attend workshops and social activities.
- What does WIOA stand for?
WIOA stands for Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act. The Youth One Stop Program is funded by a grant made possible by the Dutchess County Workforce Investment Board.
- Who does Youth One Stop serve?
Youth One Stop serves low-income youth, ages 14-21, in Dutchess County who are facing barriers to their success in achieving educational and employment goals.
